The Dirt2Media AAS Presented by PPM Racing Products 2023 Schedule has arrived!
We proudly present to you our 2023 schedule which will feature many firsts and some HUGE events in the biggest paying season ever! Some notes to make before we jump in, we will have two $20,000 to win races and one $15,000 to win race! We will visit three new states: Alabama, Indiana, and South Carolina, and we will also be returning to North Carolina after a season away! We will also welcome five new tracks to the series: North Georgia Speedway, Ponderosa Speedway, Buckshot Speedway, Paragon Speedway, and Cherokee Speedway!

We will begin our season with a BONUS race at The Last Great Coliseum. On April 1, 2023, it’s Bristol Baby!! Along with the Steel Block Bandits, we will be the first race cars on the dirt at Bristol for the Bristol Dirt Showcase paying $5,000 to win! Don’t miss out on this special opportunity to race on this legendary track! Space is limited; pre-registration opens soon!
The points season will once again kick off with our friends at I-75 Raceway! This year's event will be a one day show paying $7,500 to win on April 8th. The plan is to have an open practice the night before on April 7th. The series will visit the track once again on July 15th for a $3,000 to win event. Lake Cumberland Speedway Dirt Racing will return to the schedule on April 15th. We will once again help LCS kick their season off with a $3,000 to win event. The series will make a second stop at LCS on September 23rd for another $3,000 to win event! LCS produced one of our best races in 2022, and we look forward to another great event. On April 21st, we will return to Ray Cook's TriCounty Racetrack in Brasstown, NC for a $2,500 to win race. The track known as "The Tiger Pit," is one tough bullring, and we look forward to the 3/8ths mile track in 2023! We will follow up TriCounty on April 22nd with the first new track of the season for the series, North Georgia Speedway! The track is under new management this year and will host the series for a $3,000 to win event. This is a race a lot of the competitors have already said they are looking forward to!
We will then take a week off before heading back to an AAS original track after a season off, Volunteer Speedway for a $3,000 to win event on May 5! We are thrilled to return to "The Gap," under the leadership of the Proffitt family. This family has supported the AAS since season two, and we are thrilled to see what they do with the track! The first event will be the smallest of the season, but we will return September 8th for a $5,000 to win race. Then we will top the season off at "The Gap," for a $10,000 to win Touring Championship event Presented by Dirt2Media. Following the first race at "The Gap," we will head to Wartburg Speedway on May 6th for All-Star Wars! This event will once again pay $2,500 to win and is always one of the most exciting events every season! Raymond and his crew will, as always, have the track in tip top shape! Then we will head to Beckley Motor Speedway for the series’ first ever $20,000 to win event in the 13th Annual UBB 29 Miners Memorial Race! This race will take place with preliminary action on Friday, May 19th and the B-Mains and features on Saturday, May 20th. The track plans to host a practice on Thursday, May 18th. We will also visit BMS on Friday, July 28th for a $3,000 to win event! Then one of our biggest events of the year will be the 2nd night of the Crystal Cup at BMS as the Back the Blue/Pack the Track Challenge is once again in place for $10,000 to win! Following that weekend, we will be at the NEW Smoky Mountain Speedway for night #1 of Mayhem in the Mountains paying $3,000 to win! Roger Sellars and Casey Moses with their team are working hard to make exciting changes to SMS and turn it into a bullring battle! Night #2 of Mayhem in the Mountains on Sunday, May 28th will see us return to the 1/2 mile of Wythe Raceway! This is an AAS original event, and we're always thrilled to go see the Brown family and their great facility! We will visit Wythe one more time in 2023. We will also be there on Sunday, September 3rd for the 21st Annual Pro Late Model Nationals and the third leg of the Crystal Cup paying $5,000 to win!
On June 10th we will head to Natural Bridge Speedway for their first ever $10,000 to win race with the series! NBS has a great field of cars and the competitors will be on hand to battle it out with our touring stars bringing an always great show to the fans! The track will host an open practice on Friday, June 9th the weekend of this event! NBS will also once again host the series on Friday, September 1st for the first night of the Crystal Cup! This is one of the original AAS weekends and has become a mainstay for pro late model racers! On Friday, June 16th the AAS heads to Ponderosa Speedway for the first time ever! This will be a $2,500 to win event that will showcase some of America's top pro late model talent! Mark your calendar now for this new track on the schedule! Saturday, June 17th we will head to Lake Cumberland Speedway for an exciting $3,000 to win race! Saturday, June 24th, sees us head to Alabama for the first time ever, Buckshot Speedway, for a $3,000 to win bonus race! Bonus races are a new addition to the schedule for 2023 and will be explained in our rules. Let us know if you have any questions. We will have a second bonus race at Buckshot Speedway on Saturday, September 16th for $3,000 to win once again!
2023 will see us return to Boyd's Speedway on Saturday, July 14th for a $3,000 to win event! Larry and his team do a great job at the Ringgold, GA track, and we can't wait to return for an event in 2023! The fourth weekend in July is another of the huge events for the AAS paying $20,000 to win at Paragon Speedway! Preliminary events will be held on Friday, July 21st with B-mains and features being ran on Saturday, July 22nd! Thursday, July 20th will be an open practice! We can't wait for our first visit to this great track in Indiana! On July 29th, we will visit series regular Willard Speedway for a $3,000 to win event. The Hicks Family’s quarter mile bull ring produces some of the series’ best racing on its black slick Kentucky dirt. Willard Speedway will also host the AAS Weekly Championship in 2023 paying $3,000 to win on October 28th.
August 11-12th will be another brand new track for the series in another HUGE event! We will head to Cherokee Speedway for a $15,000 to win event! This event will start with prelims on Friday, August 11th and B-Mains and Features on Saturday, August 12th! Practice will be held on Thursday, August 10th. This will be many of the touring competitors' first trip to "The Place Your Momma Warned You About." The only track we currently have to finalize a date or two with is Crossville Speedway! As soon as those dates are set we will let you know when are heading to Lewis Jackson's facility! That's it folks! What are you looking most forward to in 2023?!
