American All-Star Series
Trevor Sise continues his great form with a win at Lake Cumberland!
Thirty-One Cars registered for the Harold Hardgrove Memorial at the Lake Cumberland Speedway in Kentucky. All of them hungry for a win with our $3000 to win Bonus Race.
This time we had to merge the MyRacePass Hot Laps and BHR Qualifying to a Hot Lap-Qualifying Session. That didn't bother Trevor Sise as he set the Quick Time with a 13.970 Lap. Behind him were Ryan Smith, both Ryan and Trevor trying to make a charge in the Points Leaderboard towards the top spot, his time a 14.014. In third and fourth were Zach Sise, 14.084, and Points Leader Tyler Arrington, 14.103.
Trevor Sise then drove away with the victory in O'Reilly Auto Parts Heat 1 as he won with a good gap to second place Jordan Wesley. Tommy Bailey came in third and Justin Rattliff in fourth. The last transfer spot was secured by Steve Stollings.
Outside Groove Heat 2 then saw Ryan Smith and Skylar Marlar battle it out for the win, with Ryan Smith coming out on top and Marlar in second. Jared Delk came in third. Chris Chandler then overtook Bailie Lowe for fourth, while Lowe then still advanced in fifth.
In PPM Racing Products Heat 3 Zach Sise came out on top. Caleb Todd finished behind him in second, while Joshua Chesney came in third. In fourth came in Logan Walls and on the last transfer position would finish Shawn Hibbard.
Points Leader Tyler Arrington would be victorious in American Racer Heat 4. Roman Wesley came in second, behind him, Jeremy Strunk drove up to third. Daniel Dial finished fourth and avoiding the B-Main with the last transfer spot would be Josh Vinyard in fifth.
DirtRichTV B Feature 1 would see Zane Powell come from deep and finish second. The only man he couldn't overtake being Dalton Brown. Both saving themselves and advancing to the Feature. On Provisionals advancing would be Mathew Porter and Harley Ellison.
With that we were ready for the Harold Hardgrove Memorial, 40 Laps to determine a winner at LCS. A strong Trevor Sise held of his brother all race while behind them serval drivers came from deep starting positions to gain a few to a lot of spots. But no one could catch up to the Sises and Zach couldn't catch his brother. That meant that Trevor would grab his third win of the season and continue to get closer to the points leader! Skylar Marlar put in a great effort to get up to third, while Ryan Smith crossed the finish line in fourth. Jordan Wesley would round out the top five. The second half of the top ten was as follows: Tyler Arrington, Chris Chandler, Tommy Bailey, Logan Walls and Joshua Chesney.
Hyperco Hard Charger was Zane Powell with 11 gained positions in 11th.
