Another first-time for the AAS as this week it took us to Potomac Speedway in Maryland. But not only the track is new, also the format, we had two complete shows at the same track on following days! Friday was a $3,000 to win and then on Saturday was a $5,000 to win show.
We started Friday off with the MyRacePass Hot Laps were the 29 signed in drivers took the track, trying to set the fastest lap. That was done by Chuck Bowie with a 16.562. In second was Jarrett Edwards with a 16.574, and in third was Jeremy Steele with a 16.649. In fourth finished Jon Ellison, 16.683, and in fifth was Scooter Tippett, 16.768.

In American Racer Heat 4 it was Shawn Walker that came out victorious. Behind him were Trevor Collins in second and Jon Ellison in third. Fourth was Kyle Hardy and fifth was Jack Brown.
In DirtRichTV B-Main 1 we had two drivers advance to the feature. These were Parker Perry in first and Ryan Smith in second
With that it was time for show number one of two of our weekend. It was a hard but cleanly raced 40 laps that had everybody competing for the next spot. After a few green laps the top two became clear, while it was a fight from third all the way down to ninth. In the end it was Jeremy Steele that took the lead with a great pass at 3 laps to go and took the win from Tyler Arrington, who finished second. Davis Lipscombe finished third, while Trevor Collins came in fourth and Kyle Hardy in fifth. The second half of the top ten was as follows: Shawn Walker, Scooter Tippett, Braeson Fulton, Jeremy Pilkerton and Jarrett Edwards.

With people moving up and down the order left and right, Jeremy Steele tried to run away with the race, but Tyler Arrington would not let go of a chance at his first win of this season. But in the end Steele brought his #22 home in first, with Arrington having to settle for second both nights. Jeremy Pilkerton finished in third, with Jack Brown in fourth and Kyle Hardy in fifth.
